Touch-Feel-Learn

Age group 5 mos. +

As your baby is starting to learn and develop they should start understanding the different textures of items. So when you take your baby for a walk to experience the world allowing for top to stop for them to explore new feelings against their fingers. This allows the children to enjoy the outdoors. They will be more prone to playing outside than a child who wasn’t allowed to explore the feel of the world.

I Love the Way You Say My Name

Age Group: 3-7 mos.

Teaching the child their name at an early age is important. Along with helping them develop their listening skills. Playing a game with your baby where you say their name at different parts of the room helps them learn how to develop skills on them listening to their environment. Having “lessons” like these with your baby, helps them not only recognize their name and your voice, but also helps them develop keen listening skills.

  1. I learned the importance of talking to my kids when a teacher seemed concerned that my one-year-old daughter wasn’t saying “Mama”, and I realized that she’d never heard me say it, as I usually said things like “Give it to me”, or “I’ll do it”. I started replacing “me” and “I” with “Mommy”, and she had it down in less than three days. Yay me! Oops — I mean yay Mommy.

  2. Thats really important. The words you want your children to say have to be repeated on a daily basis. Essentially they are mimicking everything you say so if you want them to say good things you need to say those good things.
